50 Shades of Jazz ~ Jazz Bytes ~ Rawsome Eggplant Bacon Featuring Seesaw performed by James Moody

It’s that time again.  Today I have discovered this delightful recipe raw vegan bacon recipe.  I am makin’ BLT’s with a salad for dinner  I paired it with James Moody playing Seesaw to put a little octane into my Saturday cleaning ritual.  Have a wonderful day!  JBC 8-)

The closest thing you can get to heaven using a vegetable, lol. Don’t have a dehydrator? Use your oven! Set it on 325 and cook in 25 minute intervals brushing with marinade until desired level of bacon-osity is acheived.

Eggplant Bacon Recipe ( raw, vegan, gluten free)

2 tbsp tamari/ nama shoyu
2 tbsp liquid sweetner of choice
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp cumin or chili powder of freaking BOTH
3-5 drops liquid smoke
1/4 tsp garlic and/or 1/4 tsp onion powder if your so inclined :)
Black pepper to taste

      Welcome! I always thought that eggplant was for parmesean and Mousakaa. But I found Raw vegan lasagna and this too. Enjoy! JBC 8-)
